Why I Started Chubby Cheeks
The first few years of a child’s life are filled with questions that don’t come with a handbook.
Is my baby feeding enough? Is this cough normal? Why does my child get sick so often? Is this tantrum a phase or a problem?
As a Pediatrician, I’ve heard these questions in clinics, hospital corridors, and increasingly—in late-night messages and online searches. Parents today have access to more information than ever before, yet many feel more anxious, confused, and unsure.
Not because they don’t care enough—but because too much advice is offered without context.
Parenting in India: Tradition Meets Modern Advice
I trained in Pediatrics in India, where child-rearing is deeply influenced by family, culture, and tradition. Advice often comes from many well-meaning voices—grandparents, relatives, neighbors—each shaped by experience. At the same time, modern parents are exposed to global guidelines, social media trends, and parenting philosophies that sometimes clash with what they grew up hearing.
Most parents are left trying to make sense of it all—wondering what to follow, what to ignore, and whether they’re getting it right.
Chubby Cheeks was created to bridge that gap.
What This Space Is About
This space is not about replacing your Pediatrician or giving rigid rules. It’s about explaining child health in a way that feels calm, clear, and reassuring. It’s about understanding what’s normal, what’s common, and what truly needs attention—without fear or judgment.
While this page will begin with conversations around feeding and nutrition—because that’s where many parental worries start—it won’t end there.
Here, we’ll talk about:
- Feeding, growth, and nutrition in the early years
- Common childhood illnesses and everyday symptoms
- Developmental milestones and behavior
- Sleep, immunity, and frequent parental concerns
- Myths, fears, and questions parents are often afraid to ask
More Than Treating Illness
At its core, Chubby Cheeks is about helping parents feel more confident in caring for their children. Pediatric care isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about guidance, reassurance, and partnership with families.
If you’re a parent looking for trustworthy, practical Pediatric insight—especially through the lens of Indian families and real-world parenting—this space is for you.
Chubby Cheeks is here to grow with you and your child.
